New Look!

Alrighty, I have once again played with my blog and made it look different. Hopefully nicer/prettier than it was, not that it was bad before, it's just all spruced up now. Once again I got the wonderful background from the ever so talented Shels Scraps.

I was looking at my header and thinking I needed a new one cause it got blurry when I resized it and then I was like well if I'm going to make a new header let me get a background first so I can at least match the colors up some. So I picked this one, which was really hard cause there are many really awesome backgrounds there. I like this one and it gave me even more of an excuse to make a new header. And man that was a chore -not really-. It came together surprisingly well and much more quickly than I thought it would. I am very pleased with the result too, which as I am often my own worst critic, it says alot when I actually smile and get all happy about something I made.

For this header I used artwork from the amazing Jennifer Janesko which I purchased from CILM. This 'gal' happens to be one of my favorites from Janesko, I think I could make a hundred pieces with her and not get sick of looking at or working with her. I suppose that makes her an excellent choice for my header since I'll have to see it alot. Along with this great artwork I used an awesome scrap kit from Nadya's scraps (She has some great kits on her site). The kit I used is called Love You.

I also tweaked the font colors a bit, and altered the style of my cbox to try and coordinate with the background, hopefully it works well and doesn't kill anyone's eyes. I switched up the order of things in the sidebar, hopefully that looks better than what I had before and not worse, lol!

Blink Blink

I havent posted much for a couple weeks, because as stated several times, I am not so good with keeping up with the posting. I always mean to and then I wander off. Sheesh I need to glue my fingers to this keyboard and blog! Anyway..

I added some blinkies to the side bar to add some sparkle to this place as well as link to some great blogs/sites I luv. I'm addicted to scraps and use them in almost every tag I make so many of the Links with blinks will be to scrap stuff ot tagger goodies. I don't have nearly all the talented folks I admire linked yet but I will continue to add to that section as I collect their blinkies. I won't have room to add everyone, there are sooo many talented people out there, but I will try to add a bunch and my most often visited and used.

New blog!

Sooo, this is my new blog, isn't it pretty? Heh, no cause I haven't put anything on it yet to make it beautiful! Hopefully that will even work when I get to it. I made the header at the top, thats a start and who know when and what I will add to spruce it up. It will be done as I get ideas and inspiration to do so.

Now what am I doing here, besides rambling and boring you to tears? Well I am here to ramble and bore you to tears lol! For those passing by as well as those who know me and are peeking in to see what's here: I have a hobby of making tags or sig-tags, banners, and such with my PSP X, this blog is intended to display my work and maybe even talk about it some, it's also a way to be updated about me and what's going on in my life.

I'll tell you though, I honestly don't know how much I'll 'talk' here, I've never been too good with this kind of writing. As a teenager and young adult, every journal I tried to keep would be started and forgotten or doodled in and pages filled with collages of images cut from magazines. I was just never good at expressing myself with words in that manner, talking about me. For some reason I was better able to express myself and work through my feelings by using images. That's probably why I enjoy making tags and such in psp.

The strange thing is I love to write. I have written poetry, even had a few published, I've written some short stories and I rp alot -I am addicted to my characters and worlds. All made up of course, so I guess when it comes to 'pretend' I do alright with writing. I do not consider myself a great author by any means, I just enjoy doing it and so I do it. I run my own writing site along with my writing partner of five years. I will be putting a link to that site, somewhere over there in the side column.

Alright now is where we run into difficulties, I started out strong and then just pfffffffffftt! My mind wandered off in the middle and if I try to keep going now, I will just ramble even worse!!
So I guess I'll end here and come back again when my brain is back on this or onto a different topic to write about.
